Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele% ?" ~2 z& F4 K! ~ J& w/ \
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management7 I$ F4 J- s: ^0 {1 i/ q. n4 W% v
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff6 c$ ~( h3 E. ^$ B& z
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System. e7 v0 Y o5 {0 l
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
) O5 P4 K/ d. Q# t5 o2 yRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
6 i3 p) H. [, u. zMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations1 U! I. `3 s: P* ~
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)2 V1 g t$ K5 L m6 F' s6 j" A
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
