Duties
( {" ]( k1 L' y& g& S3 LWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele+ q; k; R0 B( y3 b+ }
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
/ Q; R. m0 F5 U J% C) sResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers. d0 Y) T; N+ \* w# A8 b
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support. o! F0 l6 Y/ N& p, V8 k- _
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff4 ^+ z9 h2 \* u- \- g b" F
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System0 y- H8 q. h9 A6 h1 w6 R
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP+ ^. ^4 Q& Z1 i0 q. b: v
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS( R: V- g: ~& X. j8 K
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program* x4 x9 z4 d; `
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- [1 P2 e8 R: t6 R' a6 fMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
% H5 }$ ?, S1 H9 c6 B0 D- gExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)0 V- ^2 G( @* d$ B" I
