Duties
4 M* I& [2 u6 k7 k1 U4 v- wWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
. n2 k  c) k% X& f# HProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
$ X/ M4 i3 o8 x2 D- x% H4 tEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  X* [* U4 ?# L/ Z& a6 u$ [Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
* p! q$ L4 w9 H7 ]7 MRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- }1 Y( \8 ^+ w+ ~$ O7 EMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
