Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
/ x; W  _' B- _Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
8 @( ?$ P; {1 b. x: v6 V- W* wWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
! m1 r3 N3 J4 zDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
; a. s6 V  \/ G8 t' eMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
7 l" o& X- V3 C# B" v9 L5 N" f' PStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
