Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
% V% m+ I4 B' C) qResponsible for specialization in workstation image management, c4 ^ k: v& a
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers/ s3 R6 j# q) {0 V. |3 I
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support& A1 K3 f& k4 f* Z' T0 l2 [
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
) _2 F, u6 W8 k* Z$ B2 CEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System3 o; s7 q. t3 w9 s5 B6 ?. U8 c
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP, m/ k0 l: v) L0 R" j% l
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS8 }, [! G% x- F5 R/ V/ ^& L/ w7 B
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases1 ?) I2 s/ e- i3 Q# S

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
, z" N% \! H8 b# I3 x" d7 KRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: I# z S+ d1 K
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations/ Y4 q, ^) v4 i
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
