Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
+ L  C8 @: ~+ B9 d0 WResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
) v! v0 p: W% i) f9 B, TProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
2 h) L0 \3 b: iDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
" c/ W' w6 I. T7 Z+ pDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  C2 c' N# f& H5 L" L8 yDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

4 j- V0 T$ C2 O7 F) i2 b- Q) n( F$ XTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
7 ?, o* h' i# k, y  z# ]Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
5 A. Q5 F* ~" a- wStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
