Are you an immigrant woman who:

! M& Z. ?0 o7 f, n% h+ E-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
& p, W7 D$ d3 V$ c5 O8 V; _-  has taken an English language assessment test?
( }; _) L! Z, B' E2 s" Z4 A-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

4 j& u8 c; r& zMAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

& I: Q/ ?& t! ^- g) R5 {1 ECounseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
7 L6 t0 v2 M3 w/ X% X. v" j8 t1 NInformation about community agencies and services.
Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
4 c( k7 K- \7 N- s5 ]: VContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
