- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.) ~/ p6 G+ M1 n8 b! d) ?
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker0 m, [/ m4 @# J% ^
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- customer service and office clerical experiences

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
& v: q8 }' D* c- S O; b- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services! ]* M S: E* N. H( I& x. f
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
* U# ~/ \9 ^( u2 r1 E! x- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies9 K2 |: n: T0 V! v& V
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members! _* p. d+ T) v4 j7 v
- update ASSIST website
4 [, P+ q5 y X# D3 O5 A+ e- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre" W9 ]7 o+ }- }9 z: w1 S. L
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services% _7 O% c) v: a: H! e/ v3 }( F
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
/ @0 W' h2 J- M* a- J! u, v- write quarterly and final reports for ISP2 M* ^% M1 F& y- Y: i$ B8 i0 p
- hold regular meetings with ISP team; @; ~! S7 [, J' I7 O3 A, m, d
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time
$ I$ }. j- J' a! J3 c- update membership database

8 h4 u" K& s! f! \5 D- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education $ e3 y m8 H& c; ?* S1 K
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills7 h4 X4 B {6 W) i& |0 d. a7 ?
- experience in community work and immigrant services
( ]* ?) Z8 r6 b4 ^' K- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
