Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
: S; Y! D. g n3 Q% o& e8 k- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
2 Q9 x% x. P) u" K7 k; i- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

+ s$ p/ Q' x. ^+ Z- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
; w. m6 P' Y1 x+ H- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
- |4 @ c: U; m7 {, a( [/ _- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
: k2 C6 \3 h) B& o- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
, e9 W: s1 z! o! W, |8 s: V- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members- E5 }9 ?) x0 r3 @
- update ASSIST website( {" Z/ N1 a' l7 l& p! m
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
3 m+ }$ q2 G5 y9 ]! q, K. C4 o5 l- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- write quarterly and final reports for ISP5 [7 X0 w2 j* z' { |
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- update membership database

Qualifications
( i/ V9 R* E U0 i- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 5 K* a; F" P* I" T
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills- o1 b: ?* X3 I" @6 _3 E g, E V
- experience in community work and immigrant services
* _; }2 K' j% [9 @- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
