EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。1 j( D# q/ B$ s0 V8 m: f7 e

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

地点:The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

8 O ^: T% n6 r. k( J' j* aThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for/ {& R& E) V0 q, u3 K
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

+ u/ g0 G: z0 \6 {: fTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% d; K) X* A0 p q1 t" l* f( ^of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
- Q' ]* F$ `/ x9 S* T$ icertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events., i, k! u- |" }5 T) _- D5 G
' Y" j6 M* o0 D" K6 b5 r# V% [Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
