If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。
4 @, D9 ~& N9 e, _5 o3 ]我的车子前天早上打着火后，机油灯一直亮着。
热车几分钟后就ok了

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
basically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.

# S4 R2 B# d. Q% ]- b4 }8 t5 QIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
A good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

9 X( q" b  T3 S& i, mTow your car to somewhere warm and try to start after a while in warm place, or wait till the weather becomes warmer.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

/ c' P1 X. `& RBLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。

不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
