/ l5 E5 p5 ]: q/ z' t2 ]+ I! wContext: The Edmonton Social Planning Council is a not for profit organization that provides leadership to the community and its organizations in addressing social issues and effecting changes to social policy.

* |/ ?2 l8 q% _' X/ g! O6 uThis position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).

# a4 `0 p0 k9 r1 G: UPLUS: assisting with ongoing research projects (in particular, data and information retrieval and analysis, and report preparation) and various other responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in website maintenance.

O: G4 |2 i- [# i0 H1 D8 oThe successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.

PLUS: able to work independently & within a team environment; have a keen interest in social issues & a desire to make a difference through one's work.
