There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous f% V" Z* [0 {
enrolment and small class sizes.

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run : Q9 _* d& n W
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday - 5 @8 O: l) w5 k+ D
there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4 5 p0 w$ J2 Z3 ^6 }) i
weeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
. W& N& A7 P% u1 c8 r) E/ PEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate ! f" F6 d S" I: T0 p, @
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels , @- G! I- y [+ t: M0 \0 |) f
6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner
/ \3 O0 B- s2 x) o' a(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
/ c3 N+ [, P# b4 j$ Uprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult $ K7 r7 N+ E7 A# a# Y% N
Canadians learn a second language.% {9 q4 s; p+ A/ X( X/ N

(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday

variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different ) d3 g7 I% g" g; k. m9 g8 z( T
developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and 9 m4 m5 s! X8 \* D5 w9 E
Pre-TOEFL.% R, O: K& g, A/ [) C
4 a2 u% E. P9 s# R( M- ?) g/ NIn order to register, all potential students must take our placement test - 3 w/ l% E8 M4 h" [( O
no appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to " W4 o3 _! d- I$ e% M s$ m6 f
write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your
