There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous

9 i3 { A k) N7 G& PThe LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run / H- R$ V1 k% S/ N/ l
during the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
; |& b4 B1 y- T& ~there are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
1 x3 b+ e, }9 d0 Zweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of 8 g; X/ {& n. x, N7 r# H1 R
English as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate # {& X* A# J" Q; W4 D# V8 n) |
1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
/ P, _) ?, Z) b5 ]$ C6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner 3 N D" H9 d- I& _
(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by N% z; E4 D5 }5 X7 j7 y" _
professional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
3 D! D+ w+ z" Y" f, j5 D/ CCanadians learn a second language.

The CCI Program is open to citizens, residents & temporary Visa holders
( e, ~! g: V$ ^2 ^& `- H(student, work, visitor), and those classes run 9-12 and 1-4 from Monday
5 D9 K7 C% \: E1 y7 t7 p2 Ethrough Friday, with an average class price of $300.00 (4 weeks). These 7 g) `4 o# ~& a6 q5 C1 q
classes are led by professional contracted instructors and we offer a / Y: d$ m4 c6 Y: q3 y8 K3 b
variety of skill focused ESL classes in the mornings, followed by different
' E- p( F5 h8 d5 E# G' _6 B* `; \. zdevelopmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and
( E$ i8 h2 W2 K, p- ^# j/ hPre-TOEFL.

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -

write the placement test and if possible, we will assess the results of your * b4 G0 R0 ^& r! L; _6 R8 U T O
test immediately and begin the registration process that same day. |
