烤蛋糕

• 1 cup sugar
* w8 O+ R& J9 Z$ H2 v# s8 f• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)/ T) A X2 \) {; z( y6 B
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)5 v3 ?* q& R0 r9 ~# k1 K
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 ~6 s9 Z* \" J" Y• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:/ f8 P1 q- }9 P0 {( F* n
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

# m; M# @- |+ u, s! _! Y这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
