烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
2 H& Q3 W4 Z- c1 q8 C+ n• 1 cup sugar 5 u8 b! @' O) p, ?; W
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)( Z, c, r& I" V# k' I
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)1 {0 @* l G. I& ` B
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

) Q `+ \6 c( j* \PREPARATION:9 f V$ i/ R/ \, b' j" [4 Y4 z
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
6 }& R D6 w' r( j. TTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 3 @4 \' f2 l/ d% `4 Y- Y8 h' z
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

& k2 \, n0 c2 F: }; g' [' y这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
