烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter + g, c: ~! N+ c
• 1 cup sugar 4 N8 ]- r4 h n0 K8 N
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)& Z7 @0 p$ k$ D3 a9 v
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)! w1 [4 {) ?, L5 o
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
) F1 ~# G' T7 [0 Z% F2 R• 4 eggs, well beaten

$ N. p2 y- B7 vBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. / Y. P/ H& O+ j' c2 X
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
; X: G) v: B6 _0 {Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.
