! L0 `/ x0 B* C2 r- VThe Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
. I8 L% I2 ]! E7 t of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
# \4 u' V( a1 `# c9 ? eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
this broad land.
; w0 p6 g) ]2 {; U3 }- E2 `
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
( N9 o/ J" P# r  ]$ E$ g4 l- m1 ^" \ talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
2 c& H+ _( U$ ?. B: ?& N# y2 B$ p* \ performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
8 G. k" M$ Z  o) o8 `5 L1 [& v ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
* X; E; F& d( S0 d/ K, I# r lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
; U0 o  V( W( O sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
4 ?7 n0 X, @/ [2 p; |) y+ H CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

4 p; T! {% q' _; y: r) G" u8 z  J  eMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
( O* T* i  `$ ^. R8 D on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
