The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University' [- ~- ^% M+ t4 t$ b( H
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the/ b& n3 t' }# a: G+ S4 Z3 I
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
9 U; Y" a1 q: l0 n! c cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
& t+ B+ u2 a( k. b customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
2 d- s/ {" [* ?, ~ this broad land.

0 ]* a" s! A5 Q7 _% ?: G& n5 l' bWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
3 F) Z1 S" ~5 i' H& y* u contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
3 o' v2 \1 B% U4 y' r talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
7 I9 {" p9 m8 e) K- j* P4 B: ?5 h performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
' k" L) \0 V8 Q+ J( `8 \ ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in& e* W% \9 V4 Z( _
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a! `- ?' ]% c" h$ F
lot of fun, like what we did before.

sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),5 a. @+ i& x1 v) K$ T$ v1 h
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any# G8 P. g( t. d v2 V
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
& I8 F' ]2 k# }- |- z program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
. I! ?1 Z' { x5 v& g comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since" M' o- O. }: E1 {" w2 L' C
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.) K1 X2 J8 }& H% z

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also: N Z4 e5 [- @3 |2 o
