JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

) g. i4 c+ z6 ^2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
" U7 f- F) L2 X. g" H8 l/ D* h
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

+ d/ L& X. N% _2 ~" V2 q9 C; ~4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

2 i7 G* F: M5 Z) P# o. M" X1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

. z- a) e+ A, x, }, {! [4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

8 P; X' P" e- b5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
