1 b& a1 D- P( \Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
% S) ]. E6 }; y+ d8 r; Oand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.
& `1 p' N0 [6 t* k' Z. D
$ _/ b' f! s  Q" |The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
$ q1 W( _& G& P% e, P  z/ g(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
' z1 v0 o1 z* j+ e: E2 F' Z(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
- F7 F5 Z* V/ h4 q- X(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
