Apply to Extend my mom's visitor stay

# C2 V) ]5 f2 }! R+ ^My mom's visitor status in Canada is expiring. We are planning to apply for her extension. I did read the application package but have two questions:

! J5 ?# ^5 V9 A7 }/ h7 k1. The reasons for an extension. Can we use the reason: we want her help to take care of our new born baby? There are people say it is a bad reason. Is it true?

3 I$ g  v) s) Z  }2. In the Document Checklist - Visitor. Proof of means of support, as specified. Since we are taking care of her, what are the required documents for "proof of means of support"?
