. w3 t. ]3 q: R/ ]' L2 j9 u* koffices(s).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing
. R9 c# q+ c, p6 B( tof your application will be complete.  We cannot respond to requests for
+ h0 Z* w7 G5 r) c& R  H- Y4 gthe status of your application before this information is received."

) w. f2 i8 Y8 i$ D: Z% u0 ]Does this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!

不用太担心，他们的回复都是同一格式，不代表一定在作背景调查。我也收到过这样的回复，后来request了一个CAIPS NOTES，发现是不知为什么我老婆得Medical Examinaion的结果他们一直没收到。现在我们就要landing了。你也可以request一个CAIPS NOTES，看看到底是怎么回事。

不一定就是背景调查，　也可能是查再加拿大有无犯罪记录什么的，不用担心。
