JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
+ `; P: I6 P- s& wSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical % X( |$ d' R! [# K
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 0 i; Y, G9 Z4 V& j* H1 g7 D( x
of Course Pack production." O6 l2 h9 k& v
4 [4 R+ y* V7 C/ @& u* LDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:! O! m0 w% P( n# {6 g0 G. @' U2 [
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
8 {$ f% [/ J- \& ?8 ], \- Jof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.% P# K/ E- {9 S4 \4 u4 n
" }7 B$ ~ z- @
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
/ b* v8 |% l" s' Y$ |print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
% o& f& X" n7 ?$ l* \. W( N( y T- ^( y" K
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ( o" J* A2 @7 y4 k# ~7 j- i
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and ; L# B3 K* V. I) e4 W
keeping appropriate and accurate records.; G( Q+ C, k8 w
) k% k1 I8 N' K2 ]
4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 3 g) q4 ?+ n5 ]
failures to the Operations Manager.

% g$ r* G& v' T5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
+ M/ B9 S4 R5 ~and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
+ J, A! H! g+ X8 ~: V& @8 b1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
0 v [ F' \) M7 @" a3 u2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication 1 D% C8 S1 s5 l( H3 C6 j
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.4 F, t: I9 V) X+ I ~
1 k. X; v0 O9 R5 d6 u/ z5 N }4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
