Job Summary:
/ x1 c* L% n" k8 r0 |1 C- E( A4 sThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

: E6 l' \3 @% C8 jMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials

Loads and unloads non-ferrous material4 J6 `) J! h& \" P1 e& P8 D
Must be able to work safely at all times
3 x1 i+ z/ T+ oBe able to effectively perform tasks independently0 P t2 M) E" J+ B7 j8 A9 J
Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
( u0 ?3 o8 i( @Knowledge of non-ferrous processing6 A v& v6 A3 j3 v
High school diploma (Or GED) B- ]! o+ W% m6 m1 d$ x" g
Well-articulated and assertive
! y b. [6 g% @1 w, g* a% W' U% QAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
