Alberta Finance, Edmonton - Tax and Revenue Administration (TRA) needs a dynamic, hands-on leader to lead a
+ j8 r+ T3 I4 Q! i8 pgroup in its CIT (Corporate Income Tax) Returns Processing Unit. As an accomplished problem solver and a
people-motivator, we need you to take on this challenge.

As Group Leader, your responsibilities are providing direction and support to the members of your team (includes
! Y2 U5 o! u& oassessing their individual performance and setting of goals), communicating within your team and beyond, ensuring
/ f* f) B- I" L* T/ N& xgroup performance targets are met, and ensuring your team’s training and developmental concerns are being
addressed. You will share in the day-to-day planning and administration of corporate tax processing, develop
5 k, w& z& X; s& Mprocess recommendations, and resolve issues as they arise. Other responsibilities include interpreting legislation,
assisting and assessing process risk management and maintaining processing capability in your area.

As a proactive and positive supervisor your tact and professionalism are needed to be successful in managing the
/ a" f& l+ ]4 k: O; n. dwork within the TRA Division.

& s) D; @6 s; jQualifications: Accounting designation (CA, CMA, or a CGA) plus 3 years additional related experience. Previous
# n5 K6 ]% I* t, }; H+ ~% Ysupervisory experience would be preferred. Equivalencies will be considered.
