Intermediate Accountant or A/P
Located in our Edmonton Head Office this position will report directly to the CFO.
6 n+ {) q0 B' z, M1 oIncumbent must possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and be detail oriented. Duties will include:
- Process full cycle of A/P, include invoice coding, journal entry preparing and issuing cheques.
7 e( q; `% P. Y$ c( K2 k- Assist in pulling A/P information for custom & internal enquiry proposals
3 z7 H; |8 C/ ]! G- Reconcile monthly bank transactions, credit card and GL accounts
7 o  ?7 [2 ~3 g+ \4 W4 |& J; k0 F' J- All aspects of petty cash transactions
- Perform back up duties for the Store Administrators
- Monthly review and reconciliation of P.O and inventory
. Z; L" j( V# \  @: p5 l- Verify the accuracy of all cost information
, C( ^% \) y; e6 m! m- Run monthly basic management report
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
! K' R* |3 N; W0 ~6 XQualities that are essential to your success and ours include:
- Good communication and telephone skills, be well organized, and must be detail oriented.
6 L" o1 w5 V9 P) w( i6 ]3 H# U- A degree or diploma in Accounting or in the latter stages of a recognized Accounting designation.
- Minimum of 1 year of related A/P and account/cost control experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) + ACCPAC
9 i3 i5 P9 q( `  K* G3 s- Results oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
