Intermediate Accountant or A/P
Located in our Edmonton Head Office this position will report directly to the CFO.
1 N! _! C9 e+ @/ @9 J3 ^Incumbent must possess exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and be detail oriented. Duties will include:
) H4 Z% G- t8 \$ y- Process full cycle of A/P, include invoice coding, journal entry preparing and issuing cheques.
% \! P- T1 C2 f1 [; ?" J- Assist in pulling A/P information for custom & internal enquiry proposals
- Reconcile monthly bank transactions, credit card and GL accounts
. m3 G; L# q$ v1 m- All aspects of petty cash transactions
- Perform back up duties for the Store Administrators
' ]5 g6 s0 d+ z& u# t- Monthly review and reconciliation of P.O and inventory
- Verify the accuracy of all cost information
- Run monthly basic management report
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
# o6 H5 _4 M9 O' Z- RQualities that are essential to your success and ours include:
* P7 H! m( k+ t- Good communication and telephone skills, be well organized, and must be detail oriented.
3 O5 J: b# d2 G. k" i6 d" O  M6 n2 ^- A degree or diploma in Accounting or in the latter stages of a recognized Accounting designation.
  }8 }& f: }/ T- Minimum of 1 year of related A/P and account/cost control experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) + ACCPAC
8 l, X8 Z4 E2 Q# r5 }* l& M9 x- Results oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
