; p8 S+ D* G6 F. hBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and% G$ j; w+ K, B
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft1 K. Q1 J2 K- ?) y& M% U) s$ f
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.% _4 M d: V& C) f" J" S
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the0 A; H8 u$ [' Q0 ], j
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
1 q# M# g% m. e. |Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
3 \$ d' U# M* s. d. J; U+ J7 g" xvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
; m6 @; g1 G# ?) ^, ?* v% @, Precyclables.
0 C* M9 m- I) b* [$ n5 QFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be) r4 l; h, z& y# b( ~& o
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
& s& J8 a Q& q7 F' X6 OHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing4 g0 |5 L5 L2 b
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
7 w$ O* \ G, m# j- o1 r, @hours are part of this crew’s duties.8 l6 I7 P ?4 ?$ F- f& b" Q a. ]" {
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
% u& R( `+ R1 T% F; w1 G qfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for: E7 C- A7 M4 u) J
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.- g' a8 y" w; N& |3 U! u
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed* M t1 d- O+ ]6 U8 a" m5 c
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
. q7 D4 b2 ~ b4 c0 @festival.
# Q! D% T+ `* ?# [3 U; j8 fSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is; V2 J- H+ _! Z$ f0 `
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you; f9 ^) `; s% @( Z+ _9 p
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.0 g2 T! v$ N; `( Q; X- K/ d* j
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
4 E* }0 {0 ^7 H. p0 d# k/ Kand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
$ H9 X; ]. d8 [; WTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
# H% K! ^) X, E8 J- ~required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
$ g _ t( }5 c# P9 wairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival6 E/ x. x& w6 W: F o
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
