Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
( v4 R7 @3 m; H w/ X2 [: Xwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
8 c0 Q" p% X9 l+ a" Q2 n+ L. Z- ^6 Mprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.+ ^4 j# \& p' s
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
1 F8 \+ s B$ C4 e: X# o: [artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.. X" d& l6 M6 E- k: A
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for$ `% Q" H3 M- W& T% n* ^# K( k
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the3 w, U9 m2 W* W8 Y4 C
recyclables.( Q% V9 ^6 I. I- z, }: n
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
$ B# P Z n% w1 i- v7 R( b& tpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.$ `: q3 H2 k5 c" {' Y- H8 b4 Z% v* m% @
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
/ q) s2 O8 `( l R5 o zthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
5 t9 z: c( f6 R. ^hours are part of this crew’s duties.
7 W( X! D w' rInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
2 p% w7 ?3 o' _/ Afestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide) J& S4 R, B" `; ~6 V0 p3 J% n
programs to visitors to the festival.9 i6 f& F9 v4 Z3 j& k n/ L
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
' e2 F9 v# a7 j. v& f. keveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.+ n! ?% W8 \- Z- @8 v4 k
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
2 X" O$ t3 Y) R& A4 X; c+ D( Zevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
& k* n& @0 i- k) n, ifestival.
3 f9 M1 ~! B6 h8 KSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
. s4 U8 \. p. d& {( ~2 Foperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you) ~* g5 V, ^; J' N0 ?; r
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
/ p$ o* G0 d. ?3 \Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training1 g! ?" W& ~( M
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.7 E& W6 [' c7 r
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be1 y y) p8 \, p+ k
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
* T. q( w7 i( N _( m, |. Kairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival8 [- D* w$ s8 e1 ]. R
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
