Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and( L! j# ]9 G1 v
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
" T: \; ?+ X1 o4 }' oprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.% P ~1 P- R" Q" ^
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
5 I* `( X' q1 }artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.0 [$ l; E& d6 }# n/ |" x* U$ b
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
0 S$ \0 k; `* }9 g5 ~' u' h3 Zvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
# ^5 @- \0 f& M6 @recyclables.
1 a$ T" w" j3 D8 t- i4 F5 UFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
* r6 c5 b9 ~$ Wpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.. R W3 m7 q* t3 b% C1 U) Z7 K- R2 @8 }
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing4 Y- N5 _# `* L
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
, Z0 _9 o' m: D! E; s6 ^ C Dhours are part of this crew’s duties.
0 M, T6 b) m# x9 V$ IInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
& ~( R! q) @1 [+ ifestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
6 n# Y8 U/ x( s) T( i2 {programs to visitors to the festival.
5 l9 h$ h2 o$ [Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for, ?. g W4 y/ W4 L* O2 k# P
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
9 P3 E. {, c+ b* e2 ]# TOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
6 O% r4 Y6 p) p; v# J" U4 k% m: ?9 devents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
. S: P; Y: R# _" x0 _operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you+ D4 k) f: O2 c- `
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
) I1 \) Z3 W+ F. H' f4 JStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training3 M" l6 {! {( m1 u$ {
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
* l8 R3 } v" ~8 NTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be1 J6 h7 a) p* z, D+ e# y
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
8 ?$ w o5 t/ c- M( _( Sairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival9 @ T# M% O+ r% P: V. }
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
