followings rare operatic performance.  The organizer has offered 2 free

tickets for each school; please select 2 students from your school to
award

Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at

theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

instructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of
6 e5 g6 \4 Y( i* G4 `6 c) \6 h7 bthe
Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding
Achievements
in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts

* x. F- H( ^. VCouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The
5 _7 \7 Q6 Y$ h6 n5 g+ q) f! o
0 D4 x/ f# S( l! O8 l0 cperformance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
/ x7 z* y0 L% V! Csongs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
sold-out
$ O) ]( `+ u+ wcrowds in various Hong Kong venues and received rave review from the
Hong Kong
