Operating Assistant-SUBtitles (Permanent and Fulltime)

JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
6 m2 C7 g( x+ |1 H4 p2 COperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
$ L/ [6 ?+ s% ~8 Hfulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
effective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" q# M! _# c: w$ O+ f1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
6 A8 _2 b" P% O6 l4 g  V9 ZRetail in the training of part time staff
* u+ p) B- Y3 b* ~% N3 W
2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements
2 d7 f( O% B) ^# o0 v8 q
3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
" b- W  ~8 i# a8 h* ]Retail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured
! c# J3 c  V$ w  h& i. P8 ~& q, s
4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
various shifts as per store hours

5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
' i& C6 B- V# C, T- A) Xorders for external custom order clients

) L, C. M7 s  ~, ~: S1 S2 x' x6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

8 D( \* E  o+ k9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
7 R# g) G; M. d$ ~1 q7 t1 LSUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

8 R4 |& A8 \: d( W) b5 ~QUALIFICATIONS;
1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

! t' V' u) s' B9 o* Y  U; v2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
) @# E/ N2 F# _' m& P  ~% c: u
" ]) F/ N) X7 O3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

2 |0 F+ a& r' J9 r, R& p4)             Strong organizational skills

9 J9 y' [( d% E; \8 E/ v5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
detail

& p3 \) q9 x1 d6)             Knowledge of computer operations

  E/ \* Y9 j! X7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
9 X1 F( G- d! b% Z$ h4 Uvariety of areas

6 }0 r$ b4 R1 e/ M" \8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public

9)             Experience in handling cash
