the Students' Union and oversees all electoral logistics as per Bylaw

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 20005 A6 u9 d+ N! y3 _0 k
1 q Y% n% ?0 a% U2) To run referenda/plebiscites as per Bylaw 2000.

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing
/ ^4 P1 o9 {8 R( C7 b. I/ i/ `adequate poll staff and situating polls at appropriate locations $ y: C9 A6 X ?) O+ v( M
across campus, and advertising the poll locations.# u" q; O9 F. G" J$ C# |. m

5) To oversee the physical count of the ballots during elections/ - f4 D; Q, Q( @) V/ V: [6 b

6) To report the result of an election/referendum to the appropriate ! S- X, B% @- t- w5 U

To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections 6 b; Z1 ^# l% W; ^ O; W) u- R

& g# \- d; t$ ^10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a 2 _& u4 {, D* ]( p: G
minimum of four (4) working hours a day, between Monday to Friday, 6 e) @! d7 B$ f9 j7 I) Y
from the first working day after nominations close until the last day 7 b! Y @; z4 T# U- J6 h8 M% X
of voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

* h1 c. p! C3 o7 D \11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during

13) To submit to Students' Council, prior to April 30, a final report

( X7 K/ [9 A7 ~9 f2 lof campaigning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

& e' i" O* j% s% M1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course 3 \* C7 W b$ X1 S \* S
for each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students'
+ X9 P' e: O6 }2 _1 v# k1 e4 M! G4 xUnion member.

: [) k3 H# N0 b+ b2) Must have some experience in student elections.

3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or % t" C7 r8 L/ B# v7 g6 k! K
any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position
