DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: K2 r, x) f1 z) ]$ Ppolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

- }5 C) m. Q" |1 T  O0 R9 i  @DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
0 |- L" l. J0 F; v1 \/ I0 L6 l$ O! pand are University affiliated.
  |. Y0 B" k) U$ {9 ]$ b
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

3 t. x  \9 [) N$ U  l1 \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
- B) X2 O- x6 [4 D+ oarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

' ]- J' R4 ?; k& F1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
1 z8 P5 c* K) ~9 J& c: b8 acalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

/ g2 Q- y' w) D2 h3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

0 [1 G# ?  o  b4 o5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
