DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
3 d! A- J! n0 I6 m$ M( D- b) S(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

' H, l; P8 a& Q8 q. H% N2 X  X( PDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 b2 U$ `9 A6 A6 |+ X9 D1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

+ ^9 L% c  m) `( Q& {3 k8 X2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
7 G; |5 m# e3 r3 |! k% a9 Z
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

' Q2 [) b. d  v/ r: Y. P8 f4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

8 e( ^, j* W! P# y7 T0 f( {5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
* f. s$ z8 R7 M; ~8 B: Q' C' yManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

5 P1 q( K  a) N8 p' VQUALIFICATIONS;
- c5 ~. ?' o, D: j. g1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
1 d  {1 q. l4 p, ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
