1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
4 e# p7 m) S" y; z% Q% b9 J2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. ' a+ J; _- B( ^6 k: O6 K
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

6 r' O) C* W& n9 R/ R. J! yPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable. 2 a$ h) b0 L* j
2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
' B7 e: B- s2 H. x! g% G* O( j3 Q3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous. / r" o' b! r: E/ L ]! L( F+ m
4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
