ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

0 K/ G7 O2 _7 F, \* cThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

Qualifications: 7 F! h- i9 v" M
1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.8 I0 O* y' e& [$ X7 ]
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.( ~& a( |+ o2 S8 N9 R* U) s
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.( g* G: ?( x7 M/ ~$ Q Z
4. Team player and also able to work independently. Able to deal proactively with change and achieve goals through coordination with other people.
