ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

Community Initiatives Documenter
8 V- \1 \- d6 ?* nThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.! ` ^* j4 f8 p4 E9 D. G! y( L
/ }) x5 ?. p5 S5 F+ k, @5 f0 ^Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.$ U% {0 y v$ s& M% M' ~

Qualifications:
$ ?- g) @% m @# q' X5 ]( N! y1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.

3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills., A: `% j1 {" |6 l/ V
