- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
& B( D" o5 f" D6 g4 _the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

$ K7 u8 i D' \Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at6 s5 I" v. G3 A9 t, ]( {4 p* W
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
' s$ ^5 Z4 B3 J# Evenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
6 D. u1 i$ {- i* z( w# ]etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for- g' T" h. X% ~, y% d( w
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
0 w7 E X. ^# ~* G: Mtheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
8 f0 |" m& z7 U! ^$ Itheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
7 t$ `$ \! @& U5 R1 Z/ ?/ H, Jassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking2 e9 j, b1 @8 B; i. @3 X9 M
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city) }0 v6 [/ O9 E
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city

2 q0 i7 W: \! c/ i3 Mexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint* J$ p7 q! S& q4 w
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in$ \% D) x7 G8 Q- B& L
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate% ], K& P3 } O- h1 j; ^ B8 j' y
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
& y. i4 \3 j1 Odemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
; l$ m& c$ n) y0 fa variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those; l$ D5 n* I% S6 ^5 W$ ~
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
3 X0 i7 _( Y R: y3 z! Lskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
