Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at3 ~" z- W* F5 `7 V0 z
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
/ J0 u; h( j# \5 ]venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
7 d! H$ K* _# H2 i( netc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for" _* X# `% ?. ]
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
: q* d4 M3 E' a3 R- ^9 \their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during+ A6 P3 {$ j! ?. ?! M
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,. s) B& u. G1 r; c4 @( H
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
' N; [! T6 P& pvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
) T% m# F! g' |+ R; L3 uoutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city: A# S, e7 u/ D: k, V) L
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night1 Y1 f2 l. I b4 b
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,( L( P* f. q+ [7 ]- j; ~
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake* X$ A% J0 k& s q Z2 Z
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
