Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat

2 t7 O  Y" {) i& ^6 c$ {4 THours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
' f( P3 }0 N  s- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
; a$ n3 ]' E8 eschool year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
$ k( N; c/ L, R% ]6 b! H2 l# o9 Evenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
$ n4 ?# R! q% D7 F6 T3 r: L! Y6 p" Jparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
. Y' z- n7 l9 i) [$ |  E8 A! s% ^* Ptheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
5 o0 U; i7 D, V- `, C3 x& ?assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
7 }) Z& d* s4 T' b7 ~excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
: g% A: h, z  a' `; u  `- Mexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
7 g, C4 [8 Y/ fpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

$ c8 s" T) P' R$ |: lQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
; h6 F3 D- w) i1 C% p: {3 N; x# s; h* GCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
9 z' T* Q& T, s0 Q4 T8 Ldemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
0 J5 p8 {' ^/ o$ Q! {of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
' e5 U$ v8 f0 Y% k# n- C& dskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
; ^1 F# J$ S+ I: fExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
. R. N; o- k* }; A# t7 y# c- Cexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
