Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
5 h x) X" P' ~# sCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus B8 d8 V* V+ L" K
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
& ~6 h- _2 {" R3 {6 U) Tetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
. p- v1 x5 n3 t. sparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and" ]" r6 i2 p" G- k; L
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during) n" T% i, x Y% s3 O* A
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,# K% B2 n- `' u! k% ^: N
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking6 s o! R) A9 R8 @, S9 ~- E$ ^$ h# `
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
+ u; d5 [5 R' f" C5 ?outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
# w; x0 d' }0 Q L; ~excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night3 P0 \ y8 \* z
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or5 u9 O5 @- J/ d5 D v) p6 n* w3 V. A

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in/ }9 f0 e' r; M/ [
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate, f @: a6 s4 @2 _- {
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,; W3 R2 M9 x* f0 c
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
* m) Z, N) n3 |a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those% P a. J2 p: E- k+ Q9 J
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management' O/ J# s6 }" q C0 F$ G
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,# i/ O6 I9 {0 n9 K: l
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
