" ?& i$ W; G  ^Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

5 I* L% t! n7 P5 C" ^0 l. |Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
& j1 A# p) v& b3 j+ Gfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
: @7 ^! U3 }& ~+ rChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
( H5 Z: h) E! y  p* o9 U3 Lanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.

1 H; @: o# r4 a6 ^and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
) l6 G" L( W+ X( I6 o$ mhope to work in these areas.
