( ]% I! X6 S5 Y" h9 |( }) aSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
5 X5 f. j5 y$ T& {technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.
+ D) N. z+ b. y1 D( ^
Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
( e3 Z5 i& D2 \analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
9 k, E) l: v% _9 K" g$ J0 MThis position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
2 D  n% [- w. |5 _! q7 p3 Uand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
