3 z" r$ C* G) |Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
; c; d1 O% j0 {6 D* I. _2 winclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
& e/ j$ q/ f" ]4 \) }# fcompounds by chromatography.

" o7 w! N: w' t# R3 |Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
/ Q7 y2 D: C- M$ t- H+ g" a4 sanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
' N  \' D8 `& \- D5 d# j! C3 ^separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
( ?; b- y) B* i( O2 \4 _- _and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
