+ ?# J4 ]/ S4 }7 D& eThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.* ^: M& X3 s1 h( Q( v

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

+ e4 R) }6 {; X- u+ HMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials! }' u/ M1 Z8 g6 C+ t
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
* U: m& y. Y) j/ O5 l( `Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
/ s0 o6 X* a7 v3 {Must be able to work safely at all times# c' L& _3 \/ Y+ A) g
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently( \9 O# ^8 h6 X0 x6 T4 U" H& g
Performs routine housekeeping.
! @# p5 `5 K" m$ Z/ YObserves and reports any safety issues
& f: X# N9 B* G+ x; W2 L% V( ROther duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications:

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting
- S0 C. x6 l# ^/ MKnowledge of non-ferrous processing ?/ o* Z0 \+ p8 h0 a, W
High school diploma (Or GED)% @3 W1 K( L; a e
Well-articulated and assertive! g' L1 H( z) _+ p! T2 q0 ?
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization8 w9 A( p( u/ s% X3 h
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
