CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

4 u) Z) ^1 |: b7 a  L7 j· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

6 R0 q. p& b3 Z' U· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

  @* m& e7 b" |: D# y5 s( K, w4 K· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s
) l! g1 S& n  w4 o# w
( E3 @/ b7 s# ]3 D  q· Operate manual and automatic shifts

! u* d$ x& f( V2 Z/ k  Q6 R· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements
2 \0 D6 i& N7 e6 [0 T  D
· Minimum 3 years experience
4 l! s7 E. H% [* N1 v; Z
· Valid Class 1 license

4 f/ w$ @. F, R' p/ w· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

9 w$ V* m: e9 B; a· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

4 K3 A9 L* M% H2 C· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
