Key Job Duties

4 D7 V7 H8 @0 s· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork: |3 ^# x; g; ^2 h+ W* x# L, s( l
, Z P5 J# n" a· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
2 i) [$ k" s) t5 E* ^, l) G* Y% Z" c6 R+ w1 f- v
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections4 [& E4 G0 [- }0 k2 V( \
: a, o1 _% c$ W· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

Qualifications and Training Requirements

% k+ H- {; P6 |0 \( q· Minimum 3 years experience
1 A4 m1 X6 b# {9 f2 u6 P+ H" V7 [6 O' l% @; c
· Valid Class 1 license
% T; |9 ]3 Y& o* M4 B* M3 _. V- Q( D6 x2 d- s1 K# \7 {. k9 z
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
6 g' b: Z9 A# m) _2 A+ I* \2 O0 A, m( _" `" E1 v7 t1 ?
· Load securement certification

1 C; n$ i( |( P· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations* S- e3 M. o T+ Z8 U

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal); \$ ~1 c2 F$ o2 S$ q

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
