CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
/ o, P  H2 r+ D" c8 g- w% N
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
" V- R" v! ~) I! P0 P
7 W. f5 J- q* ?( h9 Z· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
  R5 X$ `" [  B( \) q/ _
  N$ c# G( n) S% H! i· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
5 n6 j, r6 V8 U3 [% r8 k
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

5 @& a5 B3 G6 l, B* r  R· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
$ V' N, r' R$ t6 {: [5 y0 |Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

8 t# ^3 C) W4 r5 V· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

2 ]0 H  K  o3 m# ^) o% ?2 ]· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
