CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

. k- Y5 g& Q7 ^2 h2 J· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

! p$ O+ D$ O7 n- P8 Y3 T- ]* Q· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

* ^* z. l# X0 Z  d# f4 }5 x2 b· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

% }( g) c" D1 x: O, C' Q· Operate manual and automatic shifts

; z+ d8 B' ?9 X- E; w4 n· Secure loads safely

  e$ V+ c% C& E/ N5 Q4 Q2 KQualifications and Training Requirements

( |2 {9 f( ^. u2 v· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license
& y0 h2 b. z6 x' k; S# D
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

  O9 E1 @$ X1 C" o* q# o· Excellent organizational and time management skills

6 Q/ w6 W6 @% h( i$ ]' B9 g% [· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

# z- q3 H& H! i# c- |7 q9 t· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
