" z- j% S# q" I' Z- K' S' rThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
1 h3 e/ l, C, k6 w2 C* ^-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
: H( f" o7 o+ a! Q& x-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
2 u: u$ a0 b# v; ^& U6 F-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

  |* ]; q' x/ zRequirements:
7 D4 J4 z7 Z. B9 n/ l- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
' p5 f; o+ j! \- Strong organization and time management skills
1 y- B/ Q! b8 z& @3 x2 s: E4 b- Friendly and outgoing personality
7 H; W9 h# B6 U- G- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
& E4 a* H# M& G, I6 z' u1 K/ {- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
9 `7 c. o6 O$ S# P/ L8 ^$ ]- ^) H3 L- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
