. z& A, Y2 V5 c- \1 |2 b( Z' DThis position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

; Z9 e% j& w" i- Sound research skills
$ w. u9 N6 s5 M  e: ^- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
3 h( U/ m7 G5 [2 F9 P- Strong organization and time management skills
: p6 M4 q( D  [, n, j% ?- Friendly and outgoing personality
2 c% K' |2 k: J, K8 B6 H+ N- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
