Essential Responsibilities:

2 r1 T* I4 r* _ o' J! {PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.& K. ]4 R+ z/ k! a) J3 N
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
4 t4 c/ d( `4 F3 O0 m/ [Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
& X7 \2 ^! Q0 Q1 D+ B; sCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.# Q1 _, B: Q- e% n% K
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications
0 m0 ^# J& z: Q- y6 Y; D% SContribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.; `% ^2 @! w1 K; h! ^% D
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.5 @2 n2 u' ^0 O2 `7 C
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed3 G& D: D' C2 {+ w8 U) C( C5 T
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences; D5 X5 i) b& t" U+ ]0 _
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution. X6 i1 }; X* P' _2 F! R2 Q
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed- r A! m" Z) F* Y
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.- t* p: j4 a4 @# @. \/ F& }
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
2 F7 w8 M6 c; n2 Q0 H) P$ bParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed3 \5 w1 }9 t$ _' s9 D% i" _
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing. P- p" L }( H5 O: t+ {8 u( Q
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure6 m( g% n& a" o, ^
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.: m; l+ A( [& ~- v. r% ?; E+ B" p

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ ?* O- \4 d* _/ }Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College) |1 B$ C% p3 _
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
" p% f" a' k# {) sAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)
! y* b% `, j$ B5 p) G. F7 T/ w; CExperience interpreting process control documents.' ]* i. w0 `! b( v( k& }
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities7 S/ {9 c0 \1 m
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
9 G7 E: L( B' C" `5 yKnowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies8 u# C) N. D' N

Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)* N# l$ `: l4 U; ]" A
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment$ X2 f3 E C1 W# j9 Q
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents; ]% |8 I# N- h7 ~" `* ]; |; I( m' W
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision5 ~' X, o+ b. s/ _( w3 P
Ability to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
