PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems., [0 h8 w! C P
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.- U- d& B5 u+ G7 U
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
2 [+ C9 h; y2 ^1 i; |' l* Z5 p5 U) fCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.8 O, ^! T' g, v9 L: E$ {
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications; R2 K6 i6 i" u0 z, i) v" V
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
& u% L) ]& _$ Z8 ~2 C4 x7 iManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
1 H( s& d7 i0 E, m( }Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
; o X7 b7 }5 B6 JCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
: ~& q8 E! L. I5 UProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
8 _! a8 B2 e2 ^Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed
8 C$ J- r! P! _7 T1 m+ g. qEstablish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
0 p7 _0 D2 a" r( ^) tExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional): I+ @& y& Q* \& o$ t; P
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed# p% ?1 d, c9 g7 j
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing3 x2 \4 L) g6 s+ y
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure) ^! x: y. J3 e( m
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College8 x! V/ F/ v. Q) W
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities7 j F. J4 u- A" L
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
# @! L" _$ \+ y& k* Y* e+ O7 w" PMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)

" C. j$ R# v! @Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
