As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

: P% n3 G. ?8 _0 V& e, j2 Q3 `( _- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 [' H6 s4 {* f$ o5 U/ o/ Z- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
5 g" s4 k* ?* S" L1 I' F, ?- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
( h) O, j" v+ O9 c' f- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
* U! N. k/ \- @7 e! n$ X+ c- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
! \, o) n& U' _" U9 K) e- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
' _, L2 W) p/ R- Managing shift expense budgets.

- Previous supervisory experience $ u" k. B6 B" y$ H/ _9 M
- Strong leadership skills % s5 t+ h& u8 \
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
- T6 C% i ^; Q. E& i$ [- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 7 d; I* C+ s/ o% h; u+ g
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
+ `' X" O8 q- K7 K, W( M: V- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.6 D" y$ U( H) l+ t: I
