7 }! g P/ K% x# P6 d% f% C# z8 @5 l% o2 AAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

6 i( C* m* {8 c" O7 ^- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
; U/ [' w& E0 C. ?- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
+ B0 T5 j! ~& w/ f2 k- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. / h+ D4 G6 e2 A3 d) \3 s
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
* {; k1 m* v3 E; d1 v U- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 8 h# l6 @; V- s& a6 Q' ^
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). + O& x4 F! {& Z9 U% p
- Managing shift expense budgets. 9 v2 D' y" l2 d% J

- Previous supervisory experience 5 o/ i3 @" x# l9 f
- Strong leadership skills
7 i$ h2 A$ p% p: o- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
& i9 |/ v6 E/ s1 e4 Q- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills % w0 @2 { X+ Q& U) j7 v
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
- N& P" s a! b( h# G' G, o' E- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.8 ~! d( i% n0 k
