As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:: g" ?& ?/ d [$ A* ~' H

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
1 f! f2 o( j: Y7 n; f* c- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
" e3 {$ g: D; [) _- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 0 v8 U1 I( G6 T! \6 s; V
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 0 S$ v9 w& X. }: F V
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
% {, @, T9 |( b3 N7 m- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

Experience and Education Requirements
: g: t5 K- x- N) x; k
/ o% `7 O% p* M5 W9 B- I' l& X- Previous supervisory experience
4 a0 S" [+ e0 l2 C) m- Strong leadership skills
% y: k+ b6 I& t. f+ D- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
' J' v6 n: n- ?/ _1 d2 z j1 q- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
: `% G6 o9 X& N; f) W2 `4 ^. v9 \- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
( M" x, q' J& Q1 s1 d- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.! m' e) N5 q* O* ?0 i4 w8 X7 o0 g
