! [, o- `2 K; a: _* E$ MAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
9 Y+ H: q4 }! U( A( M. @7 s6 X N2 H/ F+ O
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 8 L1 D- \# p' n) k; l, C* `# W: X3 w
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. . ~7 w3 u1 Z( N( ~* D( g
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. , d- G3 V1 @) ~9 X
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 7 }- r) I: t/ i/ p; Y+ M9 v y0 q
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
) J$ m- @9 X4 @- i* u- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). & _# K# P4 d# w7 X5 l. Z

Experience and Education Requirements* f( S5 m h: w, S$ ~
3 v1 [- S3 s: G) O/ P0 k- Previous supervisory experience
. Y( D9 h1 |+ f+ q1 j' q- Strong leadership skills " T3 x2 P/ g' I9 ~3 ^$ K6 v+ A T4 }
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ) I2 w; g$ F$ N2 z
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
# \/ K' o2 a8 o3 d- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
7 Y2 {! ^* ]( Y0 z! e6 H- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
