The Alberta government has an online source of data known as the Alberta Land Titles Spatial Information System (also known as SPIN2), from which a limited amount of information is available for free.

1. Visit https://alta.registries.gov.ab.c ... temunavailable.aspx, click on the 'Guest Login' button, and agree to the terms of use:

, U6 }. v" e: ]( D; j% V4 S2. Click on the 'Search' button at the top of the next page:

3. Click on 'Search by Street Address':

4. Enter the address in the fields at the top right and hit the 'Find' button:

. ?/ D% \) W2 q8 \. i& A5. This will bring up the rough area on the map. From here you may have to navigate around using the north, east, south and west buttons. There is also a zoom button at the top left:

3 a6 }3 J/ [2 ~, @5 Z; G# ]7 |6. Once you've identified the property you want, click on this little icon in the bottom left of the screen, under the 'Tools' functions:

7. Then click on the property you want and it will open up a new window. In that window, click on the little binoculars icon under 'View':. G2 ]; d4 ?1 `( i

& N6 r c% Y/ c* _+ m8. That will bring up basic information about the property, which usually includes the 'value' and 'consideration' of the most recent transfer of ownership:* I7 `; i+ y% F0 e4 u3 K# v
