DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
3 V: k0 i& d# @   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
- g# R# N9 U: ^8 _% p5 B   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) s( Q( {% u6 i. a% }3 N   o Linux based operating systems
0 ^4 W& Y4 D- c" ^( P0 _3 V/ S( C   o Sun Solaris operating systems
% @8 ?0 w0 o- H* z+ @! j   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
' c4 R- e9 v0 y5 ]3 u- o5 r, _• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

( c# B. k* q& @/ U* i4 h0 y6 g1 N  a• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
3 f4 i1 E$ y  w) a! l0 t$ z, K1 |SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
! q" s" i. V9 z* k• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
! Q1 I: _/ s  _0 U• Ability to work in a team environment
* w+ j/ X! q! p• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
6 r; Z. e8 y( I9 r• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
0 \8 g2 q2 d7 A# |# F- L   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

2 w" l7 v# f$ ~   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
' M. C. m, Z: y4 A4 S  X7 _• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
* s3 m: q4 b( _# P• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
