, {# N% d' Q. \+ K/ oSALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

9 Y* }" X! t3 R. b+ zRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
1 G$ s2 U- _( V8 o  J# ^  E( s1 I   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
2 N& C6 y2 _+ K% E   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
2 i' j( g; t0 @0 O   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
/ \( N4 p* i& x/ M   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
$ ~1 f3 ]1 p  p. w+ N   o Linux based operating systems
/ K  y' [0 U* w: u) \' E   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
9 J8 h6 H' F# H; `# y& I• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

2 c4 C' x% G6 f) O! A6 m  A• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
2 ~9 [6 u) p: l" m: N• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
1 P& l5 c3 w* M1 t• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
6 u& h/ ~  l9 {% `3 _- L• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
% g- W9 h7 s% G0 j" g( {0 V• Certification should include some or all of the following:
7 e3 a% D% P$ y/ u   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
& z8 d* [, s7 Y. v6 L" ~* |1 p- \   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus

5 n1 |; L8 ]; z1 N2 w• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
! C  s/ U4 y6 x% n8 H4 O# ?4 d• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
, e+ g" o7 q7 F! y8 U3 e• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
7 H- z6 ?$ L+ Q! \2 T- Z• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
$ G& J3 W8 t4 t5 r• Have 4+ years of network design experience
5 v$ V$ _2 y% T* _) L• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
