Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
7 j# }( c8 V; z/ c- Supervise kitchen staff
2 I0 R% X7 h! }! [6 ]) t' v- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
  f( \$ f* q/ O% G- Manage kitchen operations
$ i8 \5 B: C& i0 i8 Y  W- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
6 k" k& j9 J$ x. lRequirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
5 Q! e! {* P7 U* X" ]: E7 g) H- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
- Good proficiency in English.
% o/ J4 m5 a+ W( S6 l5 Q% x- Highly organized.
2 O0 F. Q# ?/ q9 b" ~This is a contract, full-time position.
/ V4 m& O7 `. U4 M: P3 MWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
& ^# e' M3 g% M# }. UWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
