Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

5 L  v0 |8 Q5 ]) a, `. A9 E) v- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
: ~$ r/ L, \* K# F2 v7 r1 t- Supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
* d( x9 [4 o+ c' Q- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
  I: _; l" s" n& ]: k6 c5 L0 ]& ?- Work night shifts, as necessary

. C( C3 ~7 [8 Q' `; N- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
: `- J0 x- f* y+ c) p- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
  M6 P/ B' c$ Y: F  a- Good proficiency in English.
% s( G! j- g$ U3 ?. ]* P- Highly organized.
. L% ]5 X$ V) P# E4 \This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
