Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
5 k  ~9 q; X  A- p. i% V5 u3 v6 YEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
2 y- j9 a, w$ c4 Y) \/ g5 L' ?Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
2 s5 u3 f+ |2 Y5 `Rectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
% D% P/ Q% m( \2 GComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  |" N( G" I  w% i' EMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef
& v# g  E1 u9 q4 l+ VExcellent record of kitchen management

Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
