( v1 {& I; D# x3 KModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
/ U, ?0 e3 g3 L( c; e( }2 t+ pEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
3 y- K" E: s4 B% A+ ^- CArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
, H" _1 E# v% U/ RRecruit and manage kitchen staff
" x# L, Q. l! X9 F5 l# Y7 F) zRectify arising problems or complaints
, M" j; f8 B5 F3 E/ ^Give prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
$ U/ h, }4 I" n+ h7 [9 fComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Keep time and payroll records
