' m" h- o7 b* ~6 I5 i7 j/ ^The fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. . x' h5 x- x I$ X
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.0 _0 y; J; K( \" ?; O
The fire covered a large area of the ravine, Meffen said, but none of the nearby homes were evacuated.
