We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.; ^0 \. u7 }2 F! y5 j/ Q0 N) N

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.( |( U/ k* v/ W
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
/ k5 W& F, a7 I) y* [• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible3 p- I7 g) g, T1 A0 p# f- c
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

: z7 ?- O. Z% T8 T• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role" }9 I" v. ?$ X$ B
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
: F5 g7 g/ k. b" N/ o• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
7 I: X1 } Z+ V- X& a# v1 a• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
( H4 s6 G+ j/ S• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
