DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
; Y f8 R9 x: z- V9 s5 f9 [• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.% F3 U8 b2 n h7 ~9 `' b
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible) M' U, A" c/ Y# g( p7 J0 c
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.: ~2 |7 G6 u8 Z

REQUIREMENTS:

+ O1 x$ k3 [: h# B( N• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
5 x) K# |( r% ]9 G7 y• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study/ G4 D: O- a- `! D( g
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
7 ~$ S9 U; H0 L+ g0 ?. E• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers8 U( H) Z9 w: h8 r' r5 M/ T
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
