We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

- z% V$ K. R" b: h( l$ A! f9 l• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
; {# e! I5 e! i* w• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.6 g- i- t3 ^# A0 H ~
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible/ l$ F3 }: }9 x- H% q* x
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.9 E- S2 g* G/ b. J5 `$ k

REQUIREMENTS:6 o: I3 h1 K1 S
: `! C1 E" G3 \, i6 h' S• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role5 [8 k W! }2 Z0 L
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study& S: \0 r0 p% E1 D# X
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
/ K" c6 m3 p& M• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers! l- a( I1 [ ^/ C( v b
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)# j, y% | A3 l: Y7 l/ S3 \" |
