Please rethink about Syrian resettlement!!! I do not want any of these immigrants/refugees brought into Canada in such a short period.

& [8 P' g% Z1 P' m! o' i5 O/ \I am a new citizen. I understand the importance of immigrants to Canada. I also understand that most Syrian refugees are nice people. The only thing that I don't understand is that how you tell ISIS terrorists from 25,000 people in less than 6 weeks!! ; X9 P' ?9 s# U3 C, E
1 [, D# I& T, i1 D/ ?, D' S E( [/ cIn the campaign, you promised to protect Canadians' safety and right. Is this the way to commit your promise? I have a x year-old daughter who was born here. I will educate her to be a good Canadian and do contribution to Canada. But I don't want her to live in fear in the future. If Canada becomes unsafe, I will bring her to other country which will really protect their citizens. I believe that a lot of people have the same thought. Please remember: kids are the future of a country.

Before I came to Canada, I thought Canada was as peaceful as heaven and people are happily living in the beautiful country. But I am shocked by these numbers: 4.8 million people in Canada live in poverty; 546,000 children across the country living in conditions of poverty: 3.3 million Canadian households are precariously housed; over 200,000 people in Canada experience homelessness each year.
