Police have named the man who died in Monday’s crash north of Fort McMurray on Highway 63.' `' C4 y! u* A" P( b
Alan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.# X: A3 j' o! l/ f* O+ K4 h
% Q* k1 X% X+ h" Q7 K8 ^The crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.1 W; Y I# {) X. \' x& [, U4 h
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
