If I don't wish to sign the "Permission Release and Consent" form, will I be rescheduled another date for the oath ceremony?

You have to have valid reason to reschedule citizenship ceremony. Contact CIC immediately.

There are two potential consequences that I can think of:

1) the next citizenship ceremony can be from now till several years later;
2) for some reason if you want to reschedule again, CIC might send you a letter asking if you are no longer interested to become a Canadian citizen
