The Alberta Tories continue to slide, while the NDP surges and the Wildrose maintains the lead, according to the latest election poll released Tuesday morning.3 F# o6 G- |; f: L" Z. W
5 B3 K( U8 h) Y/ R" @4 w1 M& M
The NDP is dominating Edmonton at 51%, according to the survey, and is in a three-way race in Calgary.
# H( n" p( ^! l/ a6 Y: K- j' o( Q# |' d! l0 l$ M
The telephone poll of 3,121 Albertans conducted Monday showed that compared to a week earlier:* w& x- v, ?* r8 k4 o; R% [
/ V0 P/ Z2 X% a1 L0 @. m; b! lWildrose is flat with 24% support
0 n/ C; T5 O6 jNDP increased to 23% support, up 3%
. o. x( Z5 c0 a6 r. Z0 X/ ?The PCs dropped to 18%, down 3%

The survey was conducted by Mainstreet Technologies.( o% i$ R! D- }$ S K
D5 `/ G# n, G! l“One thing is becoming clear at this stage of the campaign, the effect of the budget and residual anger to the governing PCs will have a lasting impact on the outcome of this election,” said Mainstreet’s Quito Maggi.

! k: d! ] ^' _6 m% _5 D& oThe NDP showed a whopping 51% support in Edmonton, to the Tory’s 21% and and Wildrose 10%.

It’s a three-way race in Calgary (WR 29%, PC 27%, NDP 25%).
