昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:

; M' Y, l; B3 q) K% P; L# j% ^On March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor
# z( V; t& R3 ?mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.

The increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are2 N8 [! K9 K0 |( n4 {! N
products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’
) [2 M( x v$ A0 s% N/ Sgates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per% q+ z: M. F) k; c; G: w* o+ l" Z
litre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature- i& k4 Z7 ], X
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that( R! `4 [2 R4 a; H. T
are among the lowest in the country.! I8 c9 S, z8 D" R: U5 b& y
* X* n, Q8 H8 s: c( @ p0 Q# xSome of the impacts on the wholesale prices are:7 R- j" q- I. j/ s! s
· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.6 K( A% f0 M3 [: @0 D; B, X
· Spirits: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
