South Side Settlement Program is hosting a workshop on “Winter in Canada” for newcomers to Canada. Highlights of the event are:  free winter giveaways and an opportunity for low income families to register for Christmas Bureau.

& N& r3 j# X0 D1 J●        Winter in Canada – what to expect, what kind of weather we get      
% o2 `) O% L( ~, l* T3 n●        How to stay healthy, physically and mentally, in the wintertime
* A: l9 ]/ ?. c$ m4 J9 n8 h, n% j* ?1 _●        How to travel in the snow – how to be prepared in a vehicle and on public transit/ what kind of clothing to wear
●        What to do with children in the wintertime/ What events to look forward to
