Newcomers are being offered some help when shopping for a home in Edmonton’s tight housing market.
?0 c2 I' g% i8 o' _6 gImmigrant women and their families can now access a “household toolkit” crafted by a local service group for new immigrant families, through real estate agents. ; O* b3 a* c0 u2 J( u% D# R
" L$ v6 V- ]5 y kIn the tool kit are 75 common hand tools – like a hammer and screwdriver – as well a book on how to buy a home, a home maintenance schedule and other items.
