西北卖地，好像抢的厉害，是怎么回事？

看电视上好多好多人排队，还拿不到号，很多很多的印度人好像，明白人说说是怎么回事，这这这这房事这么热了吗？

都是一些个人的小builder，平时拿不到开发商地块．看到市政府卖地给个人，就一窝蜂去买．

是40个lots 发200个号，很多凌晨去排队的都没有拿到号。。。觉得好奇怪呢。

The City of Edmonton will offer Cornerstones grant funding towards the construction of up to 25 secondary suites in Oxford. Each eligible homeowner can apply for up to $20,000 towards those costs, as part of the City’s Cornerstones plan to provide an increase in the number of affordable housing options for lower income Edmontonians.

The City’s Office of Environment is also offering a sliding scale grant program for homeowners who want to push the sustainability envelope in Oxford and build their homes above the EnerGuide 78 standard. Grants vary from $1,000 to $7,000 depending on the final rating achieved by the new home.
