买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

: f& V' r, k. F3 u+ `You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:+ Z3 j+ s; |. y/ K1 A9 v2 H! T4 J
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and: C% _! U+ j6 N$ O, t: {
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.  s  l3 h# V! V( [

The following are considered qualifying homes:
3 H) q. d8 T8 `: _) t* J3 M! l: E3 u" N8 Y$ @1 F& W2 z
    single-family houses;, y5 Y9 O7 o8 B! B$ n7 O
    semi-detached houses;8 l/ _2 o: p$ g, [; W6 G9 P

    mobile homes;

/ R4 y2 a3 l" XA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 0 {( _5 y7 R( n: a3 g! `

5 M$ l: A) u/ g% e2 I" X2 a, K% mThe claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.
: `1 S) ]1 m/ Y5 Y" c( X% V4 j4 p% {- O, `/ q
When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
