2 {* l' b* Z! _# Y4 b(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

information that will make your transition to the University community

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 2 q' N/ L# d% x# G; M2 W; |! J, L! O
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically : A3 E/ Q1 T& L( t9 x3 e+ q
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth
$ J! f+ G3 N9 M9 @3 l' ^of directional information.3 P: e$ V" F/ V! T; g

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ) S! E% N2 ]3 E3 y" I s' a8 r+ v
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 8 I3 I' N) u3 [2 ]1 }3 k
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 3 Z; _) A: V' y7 [9 y1 ]
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 4 _9 [7 X. t! ~0 w
Hawrelak Park.

! n5 d4 F& R9 d* q" ]: EYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on 1 B) z9 F* n) C: w) c% G
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,

* u% O! J2 L) j: B- Q9 QBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 3 r! q. a: C+ |* s D% a
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
% j7 P+ H J' k7 Xyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 8 O) i/ B/ m/ U
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process - a) p. p) L( P0 b- u
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
% u2 z6 A) K f" Eof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus - i6 _7 t0 ~; |
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
1 S, q2 x5 q( d* A- D& G& fInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ' w) Y% D$ k1 n- T- {; B
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the 7 f$ h8 I" \+ U4 v, x) d
two days of Orientation).
