information that will make your transition to the University community

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically

. q) B0 R; q5 I2 c0 W0 LBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
, h, U9 I2 M& yactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
3 G3 U1 m/ J' k4 x: ua variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday " }8 x6 y; x8 Y, S# N
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in / {8 N5 D o8 X! M$ Q5 n

September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, ! J9 |+ m: f# ^+ R: x1 I
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.

% V4 Q( u3 b0 OBoth MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
& k! N, l0 E. h/ L- o2 ]5 gto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from * K6 u: g% q2 i' I" z# w
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
; X5 z7 T* z7 u( aONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process % m8 I5 v! ~1 Y% W1 b' x8 ~' s. F
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 3 K1 t* y; ~1 |; P
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
. j& O) U9 _% A* F EComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
. s( k: }. g ~ d/ L7 `7 ]Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and - h) X. A; A" V7 `( N
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
' j" u- }. i8 H; l9 gtwo days of Orientation).
