1 k3 ?1 v& q0 L* p. \0 ~# s8 {* F(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By

8 M" e# E, _+ O" a8 V8 Pinformation that will make your transition to the University community " {5 O( [7 z, i: e5 q0 o- B
more successful.

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds $ o5 l. A7 R. X! ^+ A
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 6 ~. C' s5 |, z- H
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth % x! e- p! A0 c8 ]
of directional information.+ J' H. f l; M

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
( G7 Y+ o/ h# ~3 ], Cactivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
# Z; H9 k9 F) o! C6 w8 T! ra variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 O; _5 S0 A9 x$ G V, }
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
! c$ a- v0 g. j! e; QHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
) K7 W' f* q$ X$ JSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
@" t0 [; ~) _& P& U7 T- `; [and then continue to meet with for the entire year.
, O% e" N0 l$ p7 |! F Q8 N0 k+ c' d/ M) j
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
" H' ~& C9 Y G- rto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
5 T1 j/ e* k3 `7 G% t eyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your / q7 h1 Q+ X3 Z. ~' P- y1 I
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
2 k" D7 _* |5 R( [5 h& v, x; pyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 9 j" p$ u) y0 U
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
8 V; F7 D* D3 _2 _+ BComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
* A, l9 L0 f4 z; yInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and + ^/ b6 x/ E# D2 }7 W2 w# w
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
* ]1 H3 a, |, Xtwo days of Orientation).' @+ W* N. }, x$ R
