To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.% j, [. h& o! [9 d7 v" L
: `1 N0 f7 |9 ^7 G4 UPrimary Objective/Duties of position:
0 ^& u, t m' m6 L2 E. r" i% }( S- v. C7 b" Q2 J8 t
Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
/ Y$ @/ B- q% e T) a/ j5 x Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business0 B6 x5 e3 y0 [0 c$ m
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients; T* `4 o1 `4 \) R9 [" ~
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy4 W+ N( Q0 w& x6 e+ c! b3 d: G
Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
$ G- C9 L5 _2 R7 {) x Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
$ s: |$ Q' T6 s0 ^+ j4 h Actively participate in training initiatives: J+ p8 L1 r% F" C
Participate in community marketing initiatives

( d/ o- x9 K4 b% B- C2 }. iThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

% U& K% r0 \6 y$ a. U/ |# k High School and or Post Secondary Education
; X! S4 H* n) }8 u F6 R Previous customer service experience& b5 |" w: v# H% C
Previous sales experience an asset9 a+ T _$ E, U8 Y
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
8 Z) b# V, l2 T8 r6 T Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully- S3 c/ s3 q% {# l: _
Strong analytical and organizational skills
2 D+ Z- I1 A0 s, E+ e7 C Excellent verbal and written communication skills
