! O0 Z6 v" s' X8 E4 R5 F: l; }& C! @Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

: J* r& T, p" ?3 nKey Responsibilities:
- o9 `! s0 L& P/ `2 N; [& z% g) ^
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
+ \+ k% o; Z# k( d
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

Job Qualifications
1 _$ D, ^$ J& U& w% w• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
6 Z# ?& {9 T6 [ m* Y( `. i
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

1 A* A" ?, O! S0 ?, B" q9 V• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

+ a) @+ D; y6 R# c• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
$ s b N( J7 L0 Y( e. A5 s
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.9 b" |$ `" [1 f/ `

• Travel within the assigned region.

& n$ g! ~# @( X' f, L2 V• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
