' w t7 M: T: v. ROverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales9 y/ H" V+ C; P

Key Responsibilities:

U% o( s0 z+ Z" v• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales.

• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

# X5 d$ a8 u _& A& ?• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
5 p, O# {. g: t6 j' ]
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.- Z" M- U3 S# A& d& l

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

5 w; r+ H% [4 ]! e• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.

; `8 S/ B2 R4 @- u; a2 V. |. i+ t• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
( T' O) G+ U, T- S9 U
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

$ z% p! O9 n* Y* G; ?5 @4 }- f7 x• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

5 B& _2 g& k! O% F1 U# D: D• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills." I( W& h- ^' y! L! Z, W

• Travel within the assigned region.
