•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ( O; l& v9 I; m8 p6 t. u; s
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ X4 ] L* t# h5 ~•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting O- {, i3 Z6 q
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.9 a- _. U; k/ |' B: @
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
. t6 A9 s- h4 ~* f5 w•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;2 N( f) t5 ~3 M
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
9 c' g8 ^( J7 N7 b$ O. P9 U•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; W, d. L& s2 y8 s6 G1 \ v7 B# n. S
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential % Z7 N# c; X* ]% _
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.2 L- t D" \6 [. \7 L9 n
